It's About That Time Of The Year To Get Your FootWork In Check. Summer Has Passed And Winter Is In Full Effect. For Some Of You, Winter Will Bring Nothing But Ice Cold Weather- Which Is Perfectly Ok. But For The Others In The Southern States, TEXAS (and states of the like), Winter Is Nothing But A Few Weeks Of 30something Degree Weather. The Other "Winter" Months Range Between The Mid 40s to Low 70s.....And Your Occasional 80s- Hardly The Temperatures That Require Thick Sweaters, Gloves, Scarfs, Long Johns, Or Boots.
No Worries Though. No Matter The Weather, You Can Wear Whatever You Want And Compliment It With A Nice Pair Of Boots. Especially During This Time Of The Year, Boots Can Be Worn With Any Decent Pair of Jeans And Shirt Combo. Wear Them While Out With Some Friends, To A Concert, On A Regular (non-fancy) Date, Or Anywhere You Think It Is Appropriate To Feel Comfortable. However, There Are A Few Rules To Keep In Mind
1. Jeans Can't Be Too Baggy...This is 2011, Not 2001.
2. Let The Jean Cuffs Fall On The Boot. No Need To look "Neat" When You're Trying To Look Stylish. Let That Swag Show A Little Bit, Man.
3. Don't Lace The Boots Up All The Way. You're Not Running Anywhere In These Bricks, So There's No Need To Tighten Them Up. Lace 'Em About Half Way.....Let The Tongue Hang, Hommie. (Unless It's Deliberate And For A Purpose. See Below)
4. Whatever Color Loafer Or Pair Of Sperry's You Might Wear Will Be Your Color Boots Should Be As Well....#RuleOfThumb
